Specialized Screws for Sandwich Panels & Standing Seam Sheets

Standard screws are not sufficient for specialized roofing systems. Here you will find specialized fastening solutions precisely tailored to the technology of insulated panels and modern snap-lock systems.

1. Sandwich Panel Screws (With Support Thread)

When installing sandwich panels, standard long timber screws must not be used. Our specialized screws feature a double thread (support thread) under the head.

• Function: The upper thread fixes the top layer of the panel at a specific distance.
• Advantage: This prevents the sheet from being dented and the insulation core from being crushed when tightening (“danger of denting”). At the same time, the EPDM washer ensures a perfect seal.

2. Low-Profile Head Screws for Standing Seam (Snap-Lock System)

For our standing seam sheets with a snap-lock bar, the screw is mounted in a concealed manner within the bar.

• Challenge: A standard hexagonal screw would be too high and prevent the next sheet from clicking into place.
• Solution: Our specialized flat-head screws (made of stainless steel) disappear flush into the bar. This allows the next sheet to slide over easily, and the fastening remains invisible.
